The Central District of Ghayen County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان قائنات) is a district (bakhsh) in Ghayen County, South Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 62,040, in 16,239 families.[1] The District has two cities: Ghayen and Esfeden.
